The Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16 Cosworth is one of the most celebrated modern classic performance saloons in automotive history and was born out of M-B's desire to compete in motorsport, eventually becoming a dominant force in the DTM touring car series

The standard 134 bhp 2.3-litre M102 four-cylinder was transformed by Cosworth Engineering who designed a unique light-alloy, DOHC, 16-valve cylinder head and in conjunction with aggressive cams and Mahle alloy pistons now offered 182bhp

A close-ratio, five-speed, Getrag 'dog-leg' gearbox, a five-link rear multi-link suspension setup and a factory body kit, flared wheel arches and a rear spoiler completed the package

First registered in the UK on 29/04/1986, we understand that the car spent approximately 25 years in Spain and was previously owned by our vendor's grandfather

Brought back to the UK by our vendor in 2026 and subsequently recommissioned, with 138,683 miles indicated at the time of cataloguing
