2013 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL

For many enthusiasts, the V8 is the pick of the second-generation Continental GT, and this is an exceptional example. Finished in Black with Black hide, it has covered just 29,324 miles, has had three owners (the current one for the past decade), and is presented in immaculate condition.

The history is as good as it gets. Fourteen service entries, every one by a Bentley main agent: Bentley Surrey from the pre-delivery inspection in 2013, then Bentley Cheltenham, Bentley Berkshire and Bentley High Wycombe. Notable visits include a major service in September 2020, a 4+ Service Programme service in November 2021, a 4+ interim service with oil and filter change in February 2025, and the 11-year service in February 2026 at 29,065 miles. Bentley introduced the V8 in 2012 alongside the W12. The lighter 4.0 litre twin turbocharged engine puts less weight over the nose, and the result is a Continental GT that turns in more keenly and feels more alive on a good road. Variable displacement technology shuts down four cylinders when cruising, giving a touring range of over 500 miles. With 500 bhp and 487 lb ft, it covers 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds and tops out at 188 mph, with power sent through an 8-speed automatic with paddle shifters and rear-biased (40:60) permanent all-wheel drive. Computer-controlled air suspension with continuous damping control lets you choose between cosseting comfort and tauter body control.

Inside, full Black Bentley hide with hand stitched detailing meets Dark Fiddleback Eucalyptus veneer, with heated electric memory seats and lumbar support, touchscreen navigation, Bluetooth and keyless entry. Outside, 21 inch alloys with red enamel centre badges and the V8’s figure-of-eight tailpipes give the understated Black paint just the right amount of purpose.
