Well-sorted 2006 BMW 530i M Sport (E60), 3.0 N52, automatic, 122,000 miles. Not a car that's been left to tick over — recent work has specifically targeted the known weak points of this engine and chassis, all done proactively rather than reactively:

• Valve cover gasket and oil sump gasket replaced

• Water pump, thermostat, radiator and coolant reservoir replaced

• DISA flaps replaced (common rattle/power-loss point on this engine)

• Valvetronic motor replaced (known N52 wear item)

• Lambda sensors replaced

• Front and rear discs and pads replaced

• New alternator

• Anti-roll bar stabiliser links replaced

• Gearbox serviced (new filter, oil, seals), with a transmission remap for firmer, quicker gearshifts — this is a gearbox shift recalibration, not an engine tune

• Android head unit with Apple CarPlay, new sports steering wheel, full interior LED upgrade
