Supplied new by Godfrey Hall, Shrewsbury, this UK-supplied E39 M5 was ordered in the highly desirable combination of Le Mans Blue Metallic with Silverstone Nappa leather, and options including an electric glass sunroof, Individual audio and privacy glass

Introduced in 1998, the E39 M5 represented a significant step forward from its E34 predecessor, combining the understated styling of BMW's executive saloon with the bespoke 4.9-litre, naturally-aspirated S62 V8 producing 394bhp and 369lb/ft of torque through a six-speed manual gearbox

At the time of cataloguing, this example indicated just 58,401 miles and presents in truly exceptional condition. The Le Mans Blue paintwork is remarkably well preserved and virtually flawless, while the Silverstone Nappa leather interior remains fresh and beautifully presented with minimal evidence of wear
