1986 Mk2 Golf GTI type 19 ‘Mars Red’

Great engine, starts first turn, smooth gearbox, brakes, interior all fine.

New heater matrix, suspension, cambelt done last year, wax oiled underneath, solid standard and rare type 19 Golf Gti with service history, manuals and receipts.

Excellent Pirelli P Slot alloys and tyres, period Blaupunkt stereo, with Clarion speakers.

127k miles, everything works. Ceramic coating early this year.

Minor blemishes, worst by rear window and bonnet (study pics). Looks fine from distance but will need paint to get to great standard. Mileage counter just stopped working.

Overall a great, reliable example of a very rare Mk2 Golf Gti, which is there to be driven and enjoyed.
