1993 HONDA NSX

Bought by me in 2013, after 8 previous owners. I’ve owned it for the last 13 years. It had previously been mildly modified, with window tints, fake carbon-fibre interior trim, modern wheels and a loud droney exhaust. I reverted all of that back to factory stock. In storage for most of the years I owned it - because I also had another NSX (a Targa) to drive.

If you’re looking at this advert, you already know about the NSX, so I’ll just focus on the history, maintenance and condition of my car: the good, the bad and the ugly.

Good

This is the original NSX recipe: UK-registered coupe, manual gearbox and manual steering. 120,043 miles. Comes with a huge history file, including the original stamped-up service manual. 90% Honda and 10% NSX/exotic specialist servicing. Masses of original receipts detailing all work. Sailed through last MOT with no advisories. MOT is valid until February 2027.

HPI clear - no finance, recorded accidents, etc.

Complete engine-out mechanical recommission in 2023 at 119,631 miles:

* clutch and master cylinder

Some outstanding cosmetic points need attention:

* centre console trim broken (was covered up by the faux carbon-fibre!)

* driver’s seat leather needs light reconditioning

* a few tiny chips and dings in bodywork,

* some minor variations in paint colour

* wear to flocking on the engine cover

* mark on one rear lamp
