What a rarity this is! Ok, so I appreciate its not going to be everyones cup of tea but we love it! 2005 Rover Streetwise 2.0 Turbo Diesel GSi Pocket Rocket! Firstly the engine is old school Diesel power with a turbo that takes a while to spool up and then hurtles this little Rover down the road with comical speed and power. If you love driving, you cant help but have a huge smile on your face when behind the wheel of this Streetwise! The car is in extremely good order commensurate with age and mileage and was part exchanged in by the chairman of a Rover Enthusiasts Group for a Rover 75 Tourer we had in stock. I believe the car has been owned by a number of members in the Rover Club and has been maintained and cherished by its former Enthusiast Keepers. The car has just benefitted from two new front wings being fitted and painted by our local bodyshop, along with a full machine polish totalling in excess of £900. The car has also just benefited from a full service including oil filter, air filter, cabin filter oil change, brake pads, brake caliper and MOT (April 2027 with only 1 x Advisory for a slightly perished rear tyre). This wonderful example is believed to be 1 of only 3 survivors on the road in GSi 2.0 specification, more exclusive than even a Bugatti Vayron! Ha. We have a sales invoice from May 2005 from Edwards of Stratford Rover Main Dealer to its first owner (lady) following MG Rover falling in to administration. The invoice even has a disclaimer from the administrators authorising the sale. The car is finished in Burnished Orange Metallic Coachwork with complementary Orange and Ash Target Cloth Upholstery. The 2.0 Turbo Diesel L Series Engine has slightly larger capacity injectors fitted along with an ECU remap, this is a fast car no question. The service book has stamps in at 13.3K, 30.9K, 40.9K, 53.3K, 66K, 77.6K, 90.1K, 101.6K, 115.7K, 133K and 148.1K. The L Series engine is easily capable 250,000 miles plus and is very well regarded in the industry. We have the original sales brochures, sales invoice, stamped service book, operating manuals, Rover Club laminated information sheets, Streetwise Newspaper Articles, parts & maintenance invoices, service invoice and full V5.
