1979 Ford Cortina 3.0 Ghia Automatic. Factory built car from South Africa. Imported in 2023 and fully Uk registered. First Uk owner has had it until now. Very clean original old car in Mimosa Yellow. Car starts runs and drives.\n \nBody - Cortina MK4. Car is all original underneath with no signs of any welding needed. Panel gaps are all good. Underbonnet is all original and very clean. Original inner wings, sills, arches, pillars. Overall a really untouched shell as far as I can see. Paintwork is nice and tidy. Few minor marks but perfectly presentable. Little bit of bubbling on nsr lower quarter but other than that its lovely.\nInterior - Original ghia interior. Good dashtop, Driver seat and rear seats are good. Passenger front seat needs a repair on top area. Its not very noticeable as I had the car here a week before I noticed it. Wood dash is in good order. we have now replaced the wood door cappings with a better set\n \nMechanics - Engine starts no problem. Car runs and drives. Gearbox changes fine. Brakes feel good. As with any 40 year old car it will need ongoing maintenance. Electric fuel pump been fitted. Dont like where its located so that could do with being moved. \n \nWheels - Original steels with chrome trim rings.\n \nOverall a very rare and solid old car.
