2005 CATERHAM SEVEN (S3)

2005 S3 Caterham Rover K-Series 1600 engine, 5 speed gearbox, in my opinion the K Series is the sweet spot for a Caterham being light and free revving and the Ford Type 9 gearbox a delight to use. Looks fantastic in Lamborghini orange.

Sold direct from Caterham to the first owner on 22/11/20025 for the Academy Series, I don't think this car was ever entered into any races as it was registered for road use on 04/01.2006 by the first owner who paid extra for a matching Caterham race seat and a lowered drivers side floor when he ordered it from the factory (receipts for this are available with the service records).

This Caterham has lots of expensive upgrades including Orcus 15” alloys in Anthracite grey, wide track front suspension, set of 4 Nitron adjustable coil overs (these cost £2k now), Momo quick release steering wheel on Lifeline steering column, carbon front wings, Caterham composite race seats, Caterham 4 point harnesses, Kmaps ecu upgrade with certificate.

Large service and history folder, new cambelt at 16k miles, Caterham Owners Handbook, long MOT to 25 May 2027, recent oil change, HPI clear.

There is a soft top that doesn’t currently fit with full roll cage but there is an option for the car to be sold with Caged half roll bar instead of the full roll cage if buyer wants more road/touring orientated car. I also have a pair of genuine Caterham leather seats with runners in place of the Tilletts if desired. Some bodywork blemishes such as stone rash on rear wings and small paint rubs but overall presents well. Good useable car. Reluctant sale but needs dictate sale. £15,250 o.n.o.
