- Treated to over £23,000 of maintenance work by specialists Oselli in 2023 - A further £2,450 spent on a recent service and maintenance work carried out by specialists The Aston Barn in July 2026 - Desirable colour combination First registered on 1st January 1980 as 'LUM 666V', this Aston Martin V8 Volante, chassis number 15151, has had a notably stable ownership history. It passed to its second owner in February 1982 before being acquired in July 1984 from Hawks of Queens Gate Mews, London, showing 29,900 miles. The owner retained the car for the following 28 years, during which time it wore the registration '18 PEA'. It is now registered 'ETH 261V'. Purchased by its previous owner at Bonhams' Aston Martin Works Service sale in May 2012, the accompanying catalogue description recorded an almost continuous run of Mot certificates dating back to 1984 together with extensive servicing by Aston Martin specialist Ian Mason (later Aston Service London) and sill replacement by Panel Wise of Weybridge in 2001. While the history file is no longer as comprehensive as it once was, it still contains a selection of period paperwork and photocopies of earlier service records, together with more recent maintenance invoices. Among the latter is an invoice from respected Aston Martin specialists Oselli for over £23,000 of maintenance work carried out during 2023. More recently, in July 2026, The Aston Barn was commissioned to carry out a comprehensive inspection, routine service and MoT test, which the car passed with no advisories, costing £2,450. Finished in blue with blue-piped magnolia leather upholstery, the Volante displays 77,965 miles on the odometer and is offered with its current UK registration document and the accompanying history file. In wonderful condition this is a well presented example ready to be enjoyed by its new owner.
