1998 LOTUS ELISE

This is an MMC car with alloy uprights, boot bag and aluminium engine lid.

I bought my S1 in 2021, since then I've completed the following work.

New 52mm throttle body to replace plastic version.

Replacement throttle cable.

New HT leads, cap, rotor, and spark plugs.

Front and rear suspension refreshed with new bushes, ball joints and bolts. Suspension arms powder coated, rear lowers are new from Elise Parts.

While the suspension was apart the front bearings were replaced.

New Bilstein shocks and springs.

Steering rack plastic cups replaced with bronze type and new track rod ends.

Spitfire Engineering rear toe-link kit.

Spitfire Engineering 53ltr alloy fuel tank and pump + silicon hoses.

Brake flexi hoses replaced + rear hard lines.

Uprated clutch hose and replacement slave cylinder.

Pro alloy radiator, heater matrix and silicon hoses.

Prodimex shifter, bell-crank and cross-gate linkage.

Wheels refurbished and new tyres.

New battery.

Alternator refurbished and new belt.

All the components below were purchased from Elise Parts, which are good quality upgrades over the original parts.

stainless headlight brackets, headlights and brighter bulbs.

anti rattle door pins.

rear lower wishbone brackets with 4 bolt design.

clutch support bracket to eliminate flex.

front strengthening brace.
