The 1979 single cab pickup is heavily customised with the Rat patina paint that disguises a fully restored and modified body including the fitment of earlier front panel , bumpers and lights etc .

It's original number plate is from when it was first registered to a UK removals firm when new , and comes with the truck . Its rather appropriate, as thing really does Shift ....

The power plant is a Subaru EJ20 Turbo unit with custom intercooler and other ancillaries making the pickup more than a match for modern driving conditions .

This vehicle is a multi-award winner including Best Custom vehicle at the Run to the Sun VW show in Newquay .

The vehicle packs some punch and has been very reliable,and comes with an enviable build spec .
