Here we have a January 1985 BMW E28 525e (2.7 straight six) Auto, with 122,000 miles.

Finished in Alpine White, the paintwork is superb, with a deep all over shine. Look at the detailed videos on the top of our website advert, this is a superb example.

Inside its finished in Dark Blue cloth, again in outstanding condition. Look closer, no rips in the seats, no cracks in the dash, just a lovely interior. You forget how lovely and well put together these are, how much light you get inside the well designed interior.

This E28 features a super set of BBS polished alloys, all in excellent condition.

The chrome bumpers and winds surrounds are in lovely condition.

Underneath this BMW, its all in excellent condition, all sills / jacking points / floor pan are in excellent condition.

Look inside, you will see this E28 features very rare, working air con, converted to use modern gas.

This is a non sunroof model

Other lovely touches are the Blaupunkt Bremen DAB stereo with Bluetooth.

This car is now historic tax class, so is road Tax Exempt

This 525e comes with a thick folder of service history, going all the way back , with old Mot’s, service receipts etc.

It is Mot’d until 27th August 2026.

Following this Mot, there were a couple of minor advisories. These were all dealt with along a full service including (Timing belt replacement / New Tyres / Bottom Arms / Tracking). This was carried out at 122,592 miles, its only done a couple of hundred miles since, so its ready to be enjoyed.

This car sits and looks just right, it drives and performs perfectly, the very smooth 2.7 straight six engine has plenty of power and plenty of torque, the perfect engine for the E28.
