This vehicle is entered into the Historics Auction 7th March at Ascot Racecourse. Recent major service and maintenance including new tyres all round Bills totalling over £25,000 present in the history file This 1980 Rolls-Royce Corniche Convertible is a hand-built luxury grand tourer, paired with an automatic transmission. Featuring the model's signature long bonnet, chrome detailing and fully electric soft-top hood, the Corniche combines traditional Rolls-Royce craftsmanship with open-top touring capability, offering a refined and highly collectible classic convertible. This wonderful example is offered in blue coachwork with a cream leather interior and looks fantastic. Registered new on 22nd April 1980 it comes complete with its original registration number 'JFG 909V' and is presented in good condition throughout, the paintwork shows little sign of age, and the interior is well presented and benefits from an upgraded radio. Accompanying the car is a sizeable history file which contains many bills and invoices totalling over £25,000! Notable works undertaken include fitment of an upgraded fuel injected engine, and a replacement speedometer, (The records show the original speedometer stopped at 83,244 miles, with the replacement now showing 16,999 miles). Also included in the file are many MoT records, and servicing and maintenance invoices undertaken by specialists. Recently in February 2026 this Corniche was treated to further maintenance and a major service which included replacement spark plugs, an oil and filter change, new suspension spheres fitted to the front end, four new tyres balanced and fitted, and a fresh MoT test certificate valid until March 2026. At this time the Rolls-Royce was also road tested and is reported to be in very good running and driving condition. The car has been used and enjoyed as intended throughout its life and has been entered into various classic car shows, where it has consistently performed very well. Dry stored and always kept trickle charged this fantastic looking example will be driven to the auction by the vendor (circa 65 miles) and is ready to be enjoyed immediately by its new owner. .
