Built at Citroën’s Slough factory and first registered on 1st July 1964, it is a genuine UK-supplied, right-hand drive example of the iconic DS/ID Safari – a model produced in very limited numbers and now seldom seen on the road.

Finished in an elegant blue, HMK 6B perfectly captures the futuristic spirit that made the DS such a sensation, combined with the remarkable practicality of the Safari estate body. The Slough-built cars featured unique British-market details including 12-volt electrics and distinctive interior trim, adding further interest and rarity to an already special model.

The car benefits from a well-documented and enthusiast-led history. It has enjoyed long-term ownership in the past, careful maintenance and restoration work over the years, including an engine rebuild and a sympathetic body restoration in its original colour.
