2004 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF

Here we have my 2004 VW Golf 1.4 FSI for sale with 108,500 miles on the clock. HPI clear, complete service history with a huge folder of receipts and paperwork and MOT to October 2026.

Incredibly rare to find such a well cared for car with a complete service history for sale – let alone at under £1,000!

Current MOT doesn’t expire until 7 October 2026. Clean pass with no advisories.

I’m a car guy – I love cars, and I look after them well. This is a car I bought for my son to learn to drive on in 2023, but no longer need.

Car is HPI clear, ULEZ compliant and mechanically in good condition.

I’ve detailed the service history below and have recently had the following work carried out costing >£1,000! I hadn’t planned to sell but son is away at Uni and the car does nothing sitting at home.

4 x new Michelin Primacy tyres. All with date code 10/25.

New clutch in March 2025

4 x new coil packs – October 2025

01.06.2024 – New catalytic converter and front CV boots - £436

20.01.2025 – Full Service plus new EGR valve, spark plugs, brake hose, flexi-pipe exhaust - £624

21.02.2025 – New Front shock absorber spring - £150

Internally, no rips or tears to the fabric, new car mats, electric windows and door mirrors.

Car has air-con that was recently re-gassed and works well.

The car has war wounds on the bodywork – scratches and dents that I’ve tried to photograph on numerous panels. I bought the car with these already – we haven’t inflicted any new ones! Nothing that affects the mechanics – it’s all aesthetic.

So that’s it – a really great car – perfect as an A to B machine that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It has NEVER not started or let me down in any way.
