2003 JEEP WRANGLER

Admired for their durability, no-nonsense styling and go-anywhere ability, the Jeep Wrangler TJ has become a cult car loved by many and we are also big fans. Especially the examples we import from Japan that arrive in a super condition having had an easy life in Tokyo plus they come with the added benefit of Air Conditioning and often, as this one, the superb removable hard top. The TJ's are the last of the Wranglers that replicate the original Wrangler CJ's from the 1980's. The more recent JL's inreased in size and found a different buyer base.

As the top of range Sahara it has the hardtop, power steering, alloy wheels, cruise control and overdrive switch for improved economy.

A soft top will be easy to locate should you wish to use more frequently ion the summer. They are the coolest vehicle to drive around in the summer.

This 2003 Wrangler 4.0 auto Sahara Edition is no exception to others we have imported with bodywork and chassis ( photograph ) showing little to no signs of corrosion and what appears to be the original paintwork which still presents in a good condition. The interior is better than good and is helped having been covered by what are quite stylish colour coded seat covers – not often we compliment Japan for its seat covers. Should you wish to remove them you are left with a wonderful interior, not only the seat fabric and cushion quality, but the entire interior and dashboard.

Some Jeeps look great with big fat tyres on huge wheels and we have sold them like this before. However, they are not well behaved on the roads here in the UK and can be affected by road camber.

But this example is blessed with standard wheels and what appears to be only slightly modded tyres. This will be better than most, though when they require replacing if your regular use is on tarmac you might consider a more road biased replacement.

A high condition grade example with all its service history, handbooks, spare keys suggest that this could have been a 1 owner in Japan and in its 23 years has only covered 65000 miles though the vehicle displays Kilometers.
