We are delighted to offer this stunning 28,000 mile Aston Martin DB9 in beautiful condition and with a lovely service history

The DB9 was launched in 2003 as the successor to the car that “saved Aston Martin”, the DB7. Whilst the DB7 had proven to be hugely popular and charismatic since its launch in 1993, providing much needed finances for the struggling brand, it was a compromised design from day 1 and badly needed replacing by the turn of the new millennium. The DB9 was developed as a clean sheet design, utilising the aluminium VH structure that underpins Aston Martins to this day and was such a step on from the DB7 that the company symbolically missed out the DB8 nomenclature to highlight just how big a leap forward they had taken.

Providing prodigious performance from its 450bhp 6 litre V12, a beautifully judged ride and handling balance, wrapped up in a gorgeous, yet subtle, body the DB9 was an instant hit. Less obvious than the Ferrari alternatives, more luxurious than the Porsche offerings and more special than anything from Jaguar, Maserati or elsewhere, the DB9 occupied its own distinct space. Press reviews at the time were incredibly positive and the car went on to sell approximately 16,500 units over its 12 year lifespan, almost certainly “saving Aston Martin” again.

The car we are delighted to offer is a low mileage (28,000 miles) 2010 car finished in Meteorite Silver with Black leather interior and all the usual DB9 refinements, including: Air Conditioning, Electric Seats, Cruise Control, Sat Nav, Telephone and Premium Sound System. Being a post 2009 facelift car it has slightly revised exterior styling, a 20bhp more powerful V12 engine (now 470bhp) matched to the touchtronic 2 6-speed automatic gearbox, a revised chassis set-up, with optional 20 spoke wheels, and updated interior.

The thing that really makes this car stand out is its condition. It has wanted for nothing it’s entire life and this shows through in the condition of the bodywork and interior, which are stunning, and the underside of the car which is clean, dry and perfectly serviced (on it’s most recent MOT the tester said the only thing he could find underneath was dust!). It is a testament to the care and attention each owner has shown it via recognised Aston Martin main dealers and specialists throughout it’s life. The service history covers:

This DB9 has been stored with us here at GQ for the last 2 years and has had minimal use during that time. Always driven on fine, dry days, cleaned, put away covered and charged it has led a pampered life, but it is now time for it to find a new home and an owner who will cherish it as much as its previous owners have.
