1973 ALFA ROMEO 2000

THIS CAR Manufactured in November 1973 and delivered to City Motors of Malaysia in December that same year. Originally finished in Piper Yellow over a Black interior, and supplied in right-hand drive. This is a matching-numbers example. The car comes with substantial history from the 1990s onwards, with a particularly notable chapter in 2012 when it underwent a comprehensive restoration to create the fast-road - spec 2000 GTV you see today. Highlights of the 2012 restoration include: Full engine rebuild and upgrade to fast-road specification (Dyno-tested at 162 bhp) Koni suspension setup GTA replica wheels Bare-metal respray with panels replaced as required (photo library available) Full interior retrim with Alfa 156 seats Nardi steering wheel Remodelled central instrument housing The current owner bought the car in 2015 and has taken great care of it ever since, keeping up with regular detailed maintenance and building a solid file of supporting records. Today the car presents extremely well, both above and underneath (underbody photos available). We have just completed a 200-mile drive in the car, and it performed exceptionally. Only minor fettling was required - a faulty indicator and rev-counter illumination - both of which were promptly sorted.
