Totally original and unmodified 2012 VW Golf GTI Edition 35 in Candy White.

This is the 35th-anniversary GTI special edition, which comes with the higher-performance EA113 engine from the MK6 Golf R, detuned to 234bhp. This engine is well known for its tuning potential. It is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Factory Edition 35 exterior extras include Watkins Glen alloy wheels, body kit, upgraded headlights and taillights.

Interior spec options include the factory upgraded infotainment screen with Nav and DAB, front and rear parking sensors, automatic wipers, automatic lights, front DRLs, dual zone climate control and full heated leather interior.

Cambelt and water pump changed at 79k miles and again at 87k miles under warranty.

Recent work includes an exhaust repair, rocker cover gasket replacement and PCV valve replacement, which is a common failure point. Tyres, brakes and suspension are in very good condition.

Enthusiast-owned and mostly used as a weekend car, having covered just over 5,000 miles in my 2-year ownership. Always warmed and cooled correctly and run on Shell V-Power or BP Ultimate. The previous owner was equally careful with it and kept it dry stored when not in use.

Sensible mileage for its age, excellent condition inside and out, and wants for nothing. Completely original, unmodified, manual Edition 35s are increasingly difficult to find in this condition.

Test drives can be facilitated only with proof of fully comprehensive insurance. Temporary cover for the test drive is acceptable.

The viewing, purchase and collection must be completed in person. I will only sell directly to the person who will become the registered keeper.

I do not accept remote buyers or third-party collection.

I do not accept deposits and I do not hold the car. Viewings are in person and decisions are made at the viewing.

I do not negotiate over message. Pricing is discussed only after the car has been seen.

Payment is by instant bank transfer only. Funds must be received and visible in my account before the keys and documents are released. I do not accept cash, escrow services, overpayments or any alternative payment arrangements.

The car is sold in good faith and is available for full inspection. This is a private sale, so no warranty is provided once the transaction is completed.
