2005 RENAULT CLIO

Welcome to this listing for my Clio RS182. This is a 2005 "Full fat" version ie both cup packs finished in the super sparkly Titanium silver with the standard Renault sport seats inside.

Just coming up to 89,000 miles on the shell. The engine is on approx 100,000. I have owned for just over a year, I bought it with a knocking sound coming from the engine which turned out to be a bottom end issue so I set about replacing the engine. (still have the original, can be included) The clutch was replaced at the time of the replacement along with all gaskets required for ancillary swap over. At the time I checked the timing belt which looked to be in good condition and as I wanted to make sure the engine ran well I decided to not change it. I do not have any history for the replacement engine so replacing the belt would be recommended for the new owner for peace of mind. The replacement engine runs well though with no unwanted noises and pulls nicely all the way to the top end of the rev range with a distinctive pull around 5000 rpm. Ac has been removed using a proper alternator bracket. Still have the ac system (compressor still on old engine)

For the most part it is still in standard for. Modifications include Scorpion exhaust (loud but sounds great), Ram air intake, Eibach lowering springs, Rear K-brace.

Overall condition:

Being a 20 year old hot hatch is has got some blemishes but overall it has not fared to badly over those years. I have pictured areas best as possible. Front bumper has a few marks, couple of little dents, very small blisters on the 1/4 panels, glovebox handle broken, heater panel is pealing, wheels could do with painting. But it cleans up really nice as you can see by the pictures

This is my 4th 182 and probably wont be my last one but I have just started a new business so I am thinning down my small collection/fleet. V5 in my name and MOT until October 2026. I am open to offers given the cambelt situation and couple of blemishes
