Carcooned during the winter, coming out on only dry sunny days for pleasure. Perfectly maintained by MGOC 5 star and 5 spanner MG specialist Robln Lackford .
1798 cc engine, Overdrive, brakes, suspension etc. all perform perfectly.
New mohair hood fitted. which includes a solid glass heated rear window, new SU carburettors, servo assisted brakes and a 'Dynalite' alternator that looks like a dynamo to retain the 'period' look under the bonnet. An alternator is essential to power the heated rear screen and the Fitted spotlights etc.
Heavy duty battery fitted and a brand new slightly tinted windscreen and special doorlocks fitted by Robin Lackford.
Interior is red with white piping, original patina in excellent condition giving a lovely look of originality
Full matching tonneau, including carpets in red, all like new (including the boot and spare wheel ) Chrome Wire Wheels, Woodrimmed steering wheel, Kenlowe Fan. an oil cooler and a spin off oil filter.
Previous invoices of all work back to 2000 rebuild with a new Heritage Shell and Old English White paint.
Mk 1 MGBs have a iovely period feel about them and look just right. They are an enjoyable classic sports car, especially with the top down and are easy to maintain wlth excellent availability of spares .
