2001 HONDA ACCORD

A very well-maintained example of the CH1 (facelifted) with a few moderate enhancements.

The bulkhead, chassis rails, sills, brake lines and bodywork are, as of last inspection in early 2025, free of any pitting corrosion and the undercarriage has been treated in early 2025 to an underseal.

The engine performs perfectly (being recently described as “very sweet” by a leading Type-R specialist) and the gearbox is tight and smooth. The car corners flatly and consistently, with excellent bound and rebound on its adjustable coilovers.

The interior is in very good condition for the age. The Recaro seats are free of stains, tears and excessive wear (aside from minimal and expected wear on the driver’s seat, the others look brand new). The Momo steering wheel benefits from factory-specced red leather inserts.

The performance is very strong and the sound is fantastic. The VTEC switch-over is pronounced. The hydraulic steering is very communicative and the gearbox feels factory fresh (being replaced in 2020).

The car has always been brought up to temperature gradually in my ownership and has been garaged throughout the winter months, being driven only on dry days. It's only been run on 99 RON petrol during my ownership.

The Vesuvio red Paintwork is in good condition for the age. The engine bay is immaculate. Lots of paperwork, including original invoice from Honda dealer. Comprehensive service history.

I’m only looking to sell because I need a car I can drive all year round, and I feel the Accord is too nice to drive in the Winter months. Oil and oil filter just replaced.
