This example was was built using a 1973 VW Beetle donor car and was first registered in Florida on 7th September 1994 upon completion. Unfortunately, little is known of its history in the USA before it was imported from Florida to the UK and first registered here on December 21st 2005. The current owner, a lady, purchased the car in 2017, but the history file has been lost during a recent house move, so she is trying to recover the file and trace its history as much as possible. It’s an exceptional replica, built to a high standard, and features a 1600cc VW engine paired with a 4-speed gearbox. The car has recently undergone some impressive updates, including a brand new blue mohair soft top and a tan leather interior, both professionally fitted by Strong & Turton Coach-trimmers at a cost of £3,750.
