2012 MERCEDES-BENZ SLK

This lovely Mercedes-Benz SLK 200 has covered just 34,500 miles from new. It is finished in Palladium Silver Metallic with 18-inch alloy wheels and an electrically folding roof.

The interior is sumptuously trimmed in cream leather with a black dashboard and aluminium trim. The car has an excellent specification, including heated seats, Air Scarf (which indulgently blows warm air onto the back of your neck), cruise control, Bluetooth phone connectivity, automatic climate control, automatic headlamps, and a multifunction steering wheel.

The SLK 200 has the wonderfully smooth 1.8-litre turbocharged engine, coupled with the G-Tronic Plus seven-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces a useful 181bhp which equates to a spritely 0-62mph time of 7.3 seconds and a top speed of 147mph. It's a fun car, especially in Sport mode. In contrast, the car has a frugal combined fuel consumption of 43mpg.

The Mercedes has had just three owners and comes with a well-documented service history, showing that the car has been well maintained. Recent work of note includes an air-conditioning overhaul with a new compressor and new rear brake discs and pads. It will be serviced before sale.
