EXTERIOR

This special edition M4 features the Alpine White III paint, a hue that pays homage to the livery of the 2017 BMW M4 DTM race car. With the M colours layered into the paintwork, reminiscent of the 3.0 CSL racing cars, the unique graphics look fantastic alongside the revised aero package.

The enhancements include a front splitter with canards, rear mounted wing spoiler and diffuser to not only provide a distinctive look but also optimize the car’s downforce. A carbon roof, mirror caps and dark chrome exhaust tips all contribute to a mega styling exercise that saves weight and improves performance.

In it’s original paint from factory, and carefully finessed by our in – house team, the car presents in fantastic condition.

INTERIOR

Step inside the Champion Edition and you’ll find a cabin stripped out reducing weight in every possible aspect. A cage has been installed instead of the rear bench whilst the front seats are replaced with Recaro Carbon Buckets secured by Schroth Harnesses. The seats are beautifully crafted, both comfortable and supportive, finished with M stripes to the backrest as you would find on the E30 M3 Sport Evolution.

Carbon fibre trim elements and the Alcantara-wrapped M Performance steering wheel reinforce the car’s connection to the track, whilst all the usual M car refinements and connectivity remain.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

Under the bonnet, the 3.0-liter, inline-six-cylinder engine features M TwinPower Turbo technology which is combined with a water injection system. This powerhouse delivers an impressive 493 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, propelling the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. The engine is mated to a seven-speed M double-clutch transmission that ensures lightning-fast gear shifts and exceptional driving dynamics.

An M sports exhaust system adds a thrilling soundtrack and also improves engine breathing for increased power output.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES

The staggered Orbit Grey alloy wheels remain unmarked wrapped in Michelin Sport Cup 2’s – backed by M Carbon Ceramic Brakes with the familiar Gold calipers that create a striking visual package.

As you would expect the braking system is formidable and will work time and again at track temperatures to ensure consistent performance.

HISTORY FILE

Supplied by Marshall Salisbury in the summer of 2017 this DTM Champion Edition has had just 1 private owner from new.

Having been serviced in October of 2022 at 568 miles the car has been used sparingly and kept in a climate controlled garage as part of a collection.

The car is available to view immediately in our showroom and presents as new.
