2012 BMW M3

For sale is my 2012 BMW M3 E92 M Performance Edition. I only bought this car in August as a fun weekend car, however an opportunity has arisen to buy back my old E46 M3, a car I regret selling, so unfortunately the E92 has to make way.

Those who know the Performance Edition will be aware that it is one of the rarest versions of the E92 M3 sold. Made exclusively for the UK market for the 2012 Olympics, it was limited to just 30 units, all with ‘frozen’/matt colour schemes: 10 in red, 10 in white, and 10 in blue. The paint code is the popular Monte Carlo Blue with a matt finish and unlike other PE models, it is painted rather than wrapped. Anyway, enough rambling, here’s the headlines:

- 2012 M Performance Edition, limited to 30 models. Approx. 5 frozen blue models remaining

- Competition Pack fitted as standard

- 7-speed DCT gearbox

- 85k miles. Full Service History w/ two folders full of paperwork. Most recent service was at 82k in 03/25

- Rod bearings done at 60k miles by RD Automotive

- Extended Leather w/ contrast blue stitching, alcantara steering wheel, M - Performance dash engraving and kick plates

- Wheels refurbed in original satin black this year

The previous owner had this car for eight years and looked after it meticulously, with stacks of paperwork and service history. You can tell it’s a car that has been loved and wants for absolutely nothing mechanically, driving as if it’s done a third of its mileage.

Aesthetically there are a few stone chips on the front bumper and carbon lip, as well as the carbon fibre roof which has the usual ‘rings’ on it where moisture has got underneath the lacquer. I was quoted £500 to re-lacquer both carbon areas and the car is priced with this in mind. I have had the car ceramic coated during my short ownership as I had every intention to keep it.l

I am selling this car at what it owes me, so please consider this before making an offer - all I want is this car to go to a good home and I am not making any profit. In my opinion, the E92 M3 Performance Edition is a solid investment due to its exclusivity and should be enjoyed as intended!
