2004 Porsche 911 Carrera S Manual - Cobalt Blue

If you're looking at 997 generation 911s then you've probably heard of borescore. I had 3 different cars inspected before buying this, all had it. I decided not to risk it and found a fully rebuilt car.

Mechanical bits:

- Professional rebuild by D&G with block work by renowned Hartech (~12k miles ago)

- All 6 cylinders fitted with Hartech liners (no more borescore!)

- IMS bearing replaced

- Low temperature thermostat fitted

- Full suspension overhaul including springs, top mounts, bump stops, control arms, and bushings (£2k)

- Coolant crossover pipes replaced (~£1k)

- Variocam solenoid renewed (18 months ago)

- Fresh coilpacks and spark plugs

Outstanding jobs which have been reflected in the asking price:

- theres an occasional leak from the windscreen washer pipes. I replaced the pump but it still occasionally drips washer fluid

- there was an MOT advisory for rear tyres which I havent replaced yet

- bodywork is generally very good but there are a few stone chips as to be expected

Car is in Pontypool, South Wales (about 10 mins from J26 of the M4). Proof of fully comprehensive insurance required before any test drive.
