Jaguar XJ Sport 2.7 Twin-Turbo Diesel – Black on Black, Sub-65k Miles

If you know your Jags, you’ll know the X350/X358 shape was a bit of a turning point – blending that unmistakable classic Jaguar style with modern reliability and comfort. This XJ Sport, with its embossed XJR headrests and badging, is a lovely example: sleek, rare, and still a head-turner 15+ years on.

The Details:

Engine: 2.7L twin-turbo diesel – beautifully smooth, strong, and mechanically sound.

Mileage: Just under 65,800 miles.

Colour: Black exterior with matching black leather interior – the ultimate combo.

History: Significant service history. Previous owner did yearly servicing despite doing only ~1,000 miles annually. Since owning, I’ve had an oil change and one air suspension bag replaced.

Condition: Recently detailed inside and out. Bodywork is excellent overall – a tiny lacquer flake on the roof (1p coin size) and one wheel with some silver flake. Otherwise, wheels are excellent with Pirelli tyres all round, plenty of tread left.

Why This Car:

This generation of XJ was a real sweet spot: aluminium body (so it’s light and resists rust), modern tech, and that classic Jag styling. The Sport trim with XJR touches makes it a little more special. These are starting to get collector attention, and cars with belts/headlining sorted and in this condition are comfortably advertised north of £10,000.

My Price:

I’m asking a lot less than that, to give the next owner room to sort the small niggles if they want perfection.
