This is my second S series and I have covered around 5000 miles since buying it 2.5 years ago, it’s been a great fun car to own and never let me down. The engine and gearbox are quiet and changes gear fine, with the suspension rebuilt it handles as it should.

I’m only selling as I’ve bought another TVR and I don’t have space for two.

There is the original service book and manual, there is a mix of stamps in the book and paper receipts. I also have a Steve heath ‘bible’ to go

with the car.

Since owning the car I have carried out the following work:

All new wheel bearings and suspension bushes and joints including track rod ends, front wishbones poly bushed.

Rear trailing arms repaired on the correct jig and capped to prevent future corrosion, all wishbones painted.

Larger 260mm front brake discs and rebuilt callipers.

New brake master cylinder with replacement good second hand servo.

New clutch master and slave cylinders.

New aluminium radiator and some hoses replaced for silicone.

New water pump, tps sensor, idle control valve, lambda sensors.

New steering column bearing and UJ’s.

New engine and gearbox mounts.

Engine oil and filter and gearbox oil changed.

Mot until 05.04.2026

From 2018 onwards before I bought the car it had a lot of ignition components replaced, a new clutch fitted. Stainless steel exhaust headers. The body lifted to repair the outriggers.

The catalytic converter has been removed and no problem passing an mot because of the year.

Lots of tread on the tyres.

The bodywork and interior overall are in good condition for the car’s age, there are marks and cracks on the bodywork as you can see in the photos and there are two small cracks in the bonnet where it has been incorrectly adjusted. I have fitted new aluminium hinges and readjusted this.

The doors fit well and have no movement in the hinges.

The seats and hood are above average, there is some stitching starting to come away from the hood.

The dashboard has been overpainted and I was intending to recover or paint it, the drivers window is quite slow I have stripped and cleaned the passenger side mechanism and it made a big improvement I suspect it needs the same.

There is a very slight oil leak from the engine which has been there since I bought the car and hasn’t got any worse, I suspect it’s the distributor seal needs replacing.

Agreed insurance value of £8000.
