Service History

Finished in period Ivory White with correct race livery, this 1964 Triumph TR4 has been developed into a front-running FIA Appendix K eligible race car with no expense spared in its preparation.

The engine is a competition-built 2.2-litre four-cylinder featuring a lightened and balanced steel crankshaft, forged internals, and twin Weber carburettors. Dynoed at 210bhp, it is MSA sealed and ready for immediate competition. Cooling and fuelling systems have been uprated with alloy tanks, a high-capacity radiator and professional plumbing throughout.

Power is delivered through a straight-cut dog gearbox set, giving crisp and rapid changes, while braking is handled by a dual-circuit system with uprated components – offering strong and consistent performance on track.

The interior is fully race-prepared: Sparco seat, TRS six-point harnesses, full roll cage, Lifeline plumbed-in fire suppression system, external cut-offs, and lightweight aluminium door cards. A Moto-Lita wheel and clear instrumentation complete the purposeful cockpit.

Externally, the TR4 is fitted with lightweight Perspex windows with sliders, bonnet vents, quick-release fuel filler, front and rear tow eyes, and sits on period-correct Minilite-style wheels. Recent Contrôle Technique inspections (2022 and 2024) confirm continued eligibility and compliance for European events.

With its proven performance, current papers, and professional preparation, this TR4 is ready for top-level historic racing, including Equipe GTS, HSCC, Masters and Tour Auto.
