A fine example of the fifth generation of the legendary SL series of lightweight two-door convertibles

The flagship models were built by AMG in the form of the SL55 and SL65, both highly tuned versions of the SL500 and SL600 respectively

In April 2003, this example cost its first owner £90,700 with over £2,500 of optional equipment

Powered by a supercharged version of the 5.5-litre V8 producing 493bhp, capable of 0-62mph in 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 155mph (governed)

The cars were fitted with an uprated 5-speed automatic featuring AMG's 'Speedshift', uprated seats, revised trim, and a set of striking, multi-spoke AMG alloys.

Finished in Brilliant Silver metallic over charcoal grey Nappa leather

Features include satellite navigation, heated and cooled seats, wind deflector, Parktronic, Linguatronic mobile phone integration, and a Nokia phone kit
