2018 ARIEL NOMAD

A superbly presented, example of Ariel’s exhilarating all-terrain performance hero, with very low mileage from new.

It is powered by a supercharged 2.4-litre Honda i-VTEC inline-four, delivering 290bhp and 251lb ft of torque to the rear wheels through a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission.

The odometer displays just over 5,000 miles.

This Nomad features an Ariel-upgraded supercharger, a raft of optional extras, and a bespoke spare wheel carrier granting extra storage space under the spare wheel, as well as a roof rack. Ariel themselves have commented that it is one of the highest, if not the highest spec Nomad they have produced.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

This Nomad is finished in Sand with co-ordinating Sand-coloured chassis rails over a pared-back interior featuring black composite bucket seats with Willans harnesses.

It rides on a set of high-strength rally-specification Team Dynamics Motorsport black 15-inch alloy wheels, shod with Yokohama Geolandar all-terrain tyres.

The specification includes roof-mounted spotlights, a WARN winch, a digital dashboard with carbon-fibre surround, FOX multi-adjustable dampers, and a hydraulic handbrake.

The owner commissioned a specialist engineering company to design and manufacture a bespoke black powder-coated spare wheel carrier that includes extra storage space under the spare wheel, as well as an aluminium roof rack.

The car will be accompanied by the original handbook, various invoices, service history, two fobs and immobiliser, and the original spare wheel carrier.
