History

The R33 GTR is a car that needs no introduction, the successor to the legendary ‘Godzilla R32 GTR’.

Originally supplied new in Japan, this R33 GT-R was imported into the UK in 2022.

A long-term client of ours acquired the car in 2022 but did not use the car, it remained with this owner until we purchased three vehicles from them, including this GT-R.

The car is a genuine factory Midnight Purple example, verified with a clean CarVX report confirming no accident history in Japan.

Body & Paintwork

Finished in its factory correct & very iconic Midnight Purple, this GT-R presents beautifully throughout.

The paintwork has been professionally machine polished, leaving the metallic purple hue with superb depth & clarity.

The car sits perfectly on genuine BBS LM alloy wheels which are in excellent condition, complete with the correct JDM centre caps & genuine BBS wheel nuts.

The car also benefits from other exterior upgrades, such as Nismo B pillar trims, Nismo bonnet lip, genuine Ganador mirrors plus more.

Calipers have been refurbished & present as new behind the wheels.

Interior & Trim

Inside, the cabin has been tastefully upgraded while retaining an OEM+ feel.

New R34 GT-R V-Spec style front seats are fitted, with the rear seats trimmed to match, giving a fresh & modern look.

A brand new HKS Anniversary Limited Edition Nardi deep-dish steering wheel & matching Anniversary floor mats add a very special touch.

The centre console & dash trim have also refinished in Midnight Purple to tie in beautifully with the exterior.

Overall, the interior presents in fantastic condition, reflecting the low mileage & careful ownership.

Engine

At the heart of this R33 GT-R is of course Nissan’s legendary RB26DETT, an engine renowned for its strength, tuning potential & motorsport pedigree.

This particular unit has been enhanced with a carefully chosen selection of high-quality performance parts providing the power & noise you would expect from a big power 90s GTR.

We have had it confirmed that the engine has been built, using H beam conrods & forged pistons, HKS camshafts are also fitted & as you would fully expect the fuel system has been upgraded – utilising Bosch 1000cc injectors with Frenchie’s twin fuel pump hanger kit & twin Walbro 400 fuel pumps. A full HKS T04R turbo kit is fitted, matched with the full Greddy intercooler kit. A J’s garage trigger kit is fitted, along with a link ECU which was setup by J’s Garage & made a very healthy 615bhp.

To complete the package, the cam covers, cambelt cover & inlet manifold have been finished in Midnight Purple, giving the bay a great presentation. The result is a beautifully engineered RB26 producing a documented 615bhp, with superb drivability to match its headline performance.

Running Gear

As you would expect, the car drives superbly.

Gear changes are crisp, the clutch feels strong, & the brakes offer excellent performance with a firm pedal feel.

Suspension is tight with no unwanted noises. The car feels sure-footed whether driven gently or spiritedly, a true driver’s machine in every sense.

The underside is also in good condition in general.
