CP-Chassis

Between 2018 and 2019, TR Enterprises carried out a major programme of work documented by an invoice totalling over £28,000. The works included a complete strip and repaint of the engine bay, rebuilding the differential with strengthened chassis mountings, refurbishing the steering rack, suspension and braking systems, replacing the wiring loom, rebuilding the overdrive gearbox and attending to known TR6 corrosion areas, including the trailing arm outriggers and chassis repairs. Cosmetic works also included new stainless steel bumpers, hood frame refurbishment, boot floor replacement, interior carpet renewal and extensive paint rectification. The invoice also details numerous new service and running components, from clutch and cooling system parts to new propshaft, driveshafts, polybushes, uprated suspension, Magnecor ignition leads, injectors and brake components.

The result is a TR6 that is not only visually appealing but also comprehensively refreshed mechanically, offering peace of mind for the next custodian. Inside, the car retains its classic walnut dashboard, period Moto-Lita steering wheel and black upholstery, providing a true 1970s sports car feel.
