Stratton Motor Company are delighted to offer this exceptional and highly collectible Aston Martin DB7 Zagato.
This remarkable example is car number 47 of just 99 production cars built worldwide, presented in the most desirable specification of Aston Martin Racing Green, beautifully complemented by Parchment and Forest Green Aniline leather hides with matching Forest Green carpets.
Unveiled in 2002 towards the end of the DB7 production era, the DB7 Zagato revived one of the automotive worlds most celebrated partnerships between Aston Martin and the renowned Italian coachbuilder Zagato. Built on a shortened DB7 platform, the Zagato combined dramatic styling with exhilarating performance, powered by the superb 435bhp V12 engine paired exclusively with a short-throw 6-speed manual gearbox.
Its unmistakable design, created through the collaboration of Andrea Zagato and Aston Martin Chief Designer Henrik Fisker, features Zagatos signature double-bubble roof a direct homage to the legendary DB4 GT Zagato of the 1960s. Drawing heavily from the focused DB7 GT, the Zagato delivered genuine supercar performance alongside handcrafted exclusivity, ensuring all 99 examples sold almost immediately.
The DB7 Zagato made its debut at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours dElegance in California in August 2002 before appearing at the Paris Motor Show later that year. Available for one model year only, the 100th and final car was retained for the Aston Martin Museum.
In addition to its unique steel bodywork, the Zagato received a bespoke Aniline leather interior unavailable on the standard DB7, along with distinctive Zagato-designed five-spoke alloy wheels. Performance remains exceptional even by modern standards, with 060mph achieved in just 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 186mph.
First registered in January 2004, this stunning example is supplied with the cherished registration AM53 ZAG and has covered just 10,200 miles from new. It has been meticulously maintained throughout its life by Aston Martin main dealers and respected marque specialists, supported by a comprehensive service and maintenance history. An Aston Martin sports exhaust has also been fitted, providing a soundtrack every bit as special as the car itself.
A truly outstanding example of one of Aston Martins rarest and most sought-after modern classics, presented in the definitive colour combination and offered in superb condition throughout.
