Stratton Motor Company are delighted to present this exceptional 1994 Aston Martin Vantage V550 Twin Supercharged, finished in Aston Green Metallic with a Fawn Leather interior complemented by Dark Green piping, Beige carpets and Dark Green overmats.

Described at its launch as a brute in a suit, the Vantage V550 was, on its introduction in 1993, the fastest Aston Martin ever produced. With 550bhp on tap from its 5,340cc V8, the Vantage delivered extraordinary performance for its era, with 550lb/ft of torque available at 4,000rpm.

Developed from the Virage, the Vantage shared relatively few body panels with its more understated sibling and featured extensive chassis and suspension re-engineering to accommodate its significant increase in performance. Power came from a twin-supercharged version of Aston Martins V8, with two mechanically driven Eaton superchargers chosen in place of conventional turbochargers.

Performance was remarkable by contemporary standards. When tested by Autocar magazine, the Vantage achieved 060mph in just 4.6 seconds and reached 100mph in a remarkable 5.5 seconds.

This superb example is exceptionally well specified, featuring walnut veneers, coloured instrument faces, electrically operated and heated front seats, padded headrests and a drivers airbag, combining its formidable performance with the craftsmanship and luxury for which Aston Martin is renowned.

Having covered just 19,000 miles, this Vantage represents a rare opportunity to acquire a particularly well-preserved example of one of Aston Martins most significant performance cars of the 1990s.
