OVERVIEW

• This 2000 NA2 Honda NSX “pop-up” is arguably the most sort-after variant of this modern classic Japanese sports car. It is one of the best NSX’s we have ever driven. If you want the best, this is it. It is in truly excellent condition and has a perfect service history, having been cherished by its previous owners.

• It is very rare – It is one of only 11 NSXs sold in the UK that year.

• Supplied new by Phoenix Honda, this car was first registered on 25th March 2000. It has had six owners.

• It is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.2-litre 24-valve V6 with VTEC, delivering a quoted 276bhp to the rear wheels via a slick six-speed manual transmission.

• We have know this car for many years, having sold it to the previous three owners.

• The odometer shows just 43,921 miles from new, which is supported by a detailed Honda main dealer maintenance history.

• The car was delivered new with the appropriate W1 NSX registration and is included in the sale.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• This example has the classic combination of New Formula Red over perforated black leather-trimmed interior.

• It rides on the original 16-inch front and 17-inch seven-spoke alloy wheels and fitted with excellent Yokohama Advan A048 tyres.

• There were very few ‘optional extras’ when new – only the addition of a CD Multichanger, that this car has, of course. The standard cruise control, air conditioning, a Bose cassette stereo, electric windows, electrically adjustable door mirrors, ABS, electronic power steering and electrically adjustable seats all work as they should.

• Accompanying the sale are the original owner’s book pack, complete service history, a comprehensive collection of invoices and MOTs, two sets of keys and imobiliser fobs, the valet key and the red Honda master key in its original packaging.

CONDITION

• Like all our NSXs, this car is presented in truly excellent condition. There are no obvious marks, scratches or other imperfections in the paintwork or upholstery. If you are familiar with NSXs, you will know it’s difficult to believe this is a 25 year old car!

• The paintwork benefits from a recent ceramic coating, enhancing the shine and colour – the photos do not really do justice to the quality of the paint and finish.

• The most recent MOT test was conducted on 11 June 2025 at 43,845 miles, resulting in a clean first-time pass.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The car was last serviced in June 20245 at 43,846 miles, by Torque GT, which included renewing the engine oil and oil filter; an air-con regas and replacing a wheel speed sensor.

• Prior to this, they also carried out a service in October 2023 at 43, 679 miles.

• The last Timing Belt change was carried out by NSXUK in June 2022 at 42,890 miles. This major service includes changing the timing belt, auxiliary drive belts, spark plugs, air and fuel filters, brake fluid change, gearbox oil, engine oil and oil filter. This major service is not due again until 2029.
