LOTUS ELISE 111R 16V TOURING 2004

My much loved & used Elise has been replaced with a Cayman and isn't gettng the usage it now deserves, so it's time to give someone else the opportunity to experience the highs and occasional lows of Lotus ownership! Grab yourselves the opportunity to own one of the iconic British sports cars and enjoy the summer!

I've had the car since summer 2012 and it has been my only car so I've continued the trend set by the previous owners and had many great road trips, club days and experiences (hence the higher than normal milage) as these cars are meant to be enjoyed rather than keeping a garage spot warm!

This is the Toyota 2ZZ engined 111R variant, with touring pack including driving lights and electric windows - I can't link to it but see the wiki or evo articles for further info on spec.

Overall condition is excellent for a 21yr old car:

1) full front PPF reducing the usual level of stone chips

2) recent respray of the rear claim after insurance repair.

3) Softtop restiched and relined

4) optional hardtop included and also relined

5) recent full wheel refurb

As you might imagine, there have been a number of tweaks and change from stock over the years:

Exedy clutch and lightened flywheel

2bular 7" sports exhaust - to really make the most of that VVTI song 😀

Moroso Baffled sump

Seats now changed back to stock as opposed to yellow striped sports seats in some pics

In my time, I've had pretty much the whole suite of common issues fixed:

Dash lights switch pack replaced

Fan resistor pack replaced

aircon condensor & 'pipes from hell' replaced

Top end rebuild aftr vvti oil issue

Fully stamped maintenance record

4 matching tyres - Yokohama AD07 175/55/16 fronts & AD08 225/45/17 rears

Mot pass this week, no known issues, ready to drive!
