The Ducati Diavel was a risk. Considering the Italian company’s sporting heritage, when they announced that they were making a cruiser motorbike there was, understandably, a fair amount of scepticism. What on earth was a company like Ducati doing trying to go head-to-head with Harley-Davidson? However, then the Ducati Diavel arrived, and minds were well and truly changed. Named after the Bolognese dialect word for devil, the Diavel isn’t a cruiser in the traditional sense of the word and is instead Ducati’s take on a performance cruiser. And a very fast one at that, which was more than happy in the bends. Armed with a sports-bike-derived (and WSB-winning) motor, top-rate suspension, a sporty chassis, cutting-edge electronics and radical styling, all off-set by a huge 240-section rear tyre, the Ducati Diavel was a radical departure for not only Ducati but also cruisers in general. And it worked, with those who maybe would never have considered owning a cruiser being tempted to part with their cash. The second generation Diavel, of which our example is one, arrived in 2015 and brought with it a slightly modified twin-spark Testastretta motor.

This is a beautiful condition and low mileage example of the Diavel ‘Dark’ model which came with an exclusive Matt black finish and black frame, plus low-friction black plating on fork leg. Hand sourced and tested direct from Japan. Originally EU supplied and then exported and sold new by Ducati Japan.

Service records from new. Will have a Ducati main agent service before sold, along with a new MOT.

This example is a GRADE 4. The highest possible condition grade. Totally original panels, no accident repair or panel replacement. The bodywork is in stunning condition. Any inspection welcomed.
