1999 TVR CHIMAERA

This is your chance to grab one of the few low-mileage 4.5L Chimaera's available.

Kept in a warm garage and only driven in the dry with very limited usage during my ownership.

All the major things have been taken care of as part of an extensive recommission, including:

Full body off outriggers replaced (a must for any Chimaera)

New diff

New tyres

New fuel lines

New Spark Plugs and leads.

New headlight reflectors

New adjustable suspension

Leather and Wooden steering wheel available.

The paintwork is good, but up close, it's not perfect in the usual places where you expect to see stone chips. I don't want to give the wrong impression, as when polished, she looks incredible and as good as most you will find. I can either take care of these for the new owner, or I can reduce so you can tackle them in your own time.

It will come with a fresh service and a 1-year MOT from Sussex TVR. I've had two Chimaera's and a Tuscan, and this has been by far the most enjoyable to drive.

I bought it as one of the lowest-mileage Chimaera's, in subjectectlively what is regarded as the most desirable colour combination. It was vital that the car have the all-important outriggers installed by a reputable TVR dealer, using the full-body-off method. The previous owner left an impressive folder of photos documenting the work, giving me confidence in how she had been cared for.

I use it very sparingly, and only in the dry. It has never let me down; it has always started on the first try.

I have a few spares that I haven't gotten around to fitting, including the original Pioneer stereo, a wooden steering wheel and a green dash top.
