BMW 3 SERIES (E46) 325TI 2001

Pistachio green E46 Compact with M54 2.5 straight six engine with143,000 miles on the clock and half leather interior. We've had this car for 7 years and I have carried out out all the essential works to address the issues these suffer from, including clutch plate, DMF, pilot and thrust bearings, coolant refresh using Comma G48 with water pump, thermostat and hoses, suspension works front and rear with recent springs and shocks on the back, recent discs and pads on the rear, recent gearbox and differential oil changes too.

There are stamps in the service book to 108,000 I have changed the engine oil for either Castrol or Miller's to the correct BMW spec every year even though we only cover 5 - 6 thousand miles, with Inspection 2 and 3 in between. The fuel, pollen and air filters were replaced at the last service.

Great performance when you need it and the engine is typically sonorous all the way to the redline, if you're careful these can be economical and the best we have seen is a calculated 39 mpg on a long run to the Lakes. Our recent Welsh excursion saw an average of 36.2 on the OBC.

The paintwork has some issues, with some lacquer peel on the bonnet and some car park marks, but still polishes well.

The tyres are Continentals on the front and Michelin on the rear, with decent tread on the front but the rears will need changing soon.

I have an A4 folder full of receipts for everything purchased for the car, the original book pack and 2 keys. Also included are a Haynes manual, a touch up paint and a spare Bosch oil flter.

Quite a rare thing now and we'll miss the combination of capacious hatch, fuel ecnonomy, handling and performance, but I have just purchased a 130i and I can't have two elderly Germans competing for my attention.
