⭕ VEHICLE SUMMARY

The 1970s saw a more mature incarnation of the Porsche 911, managed by a longer wheelbase, more powerful engines and increased refinement with practicality. However, the 911's edges were not completely rounded off and still offered a sensational experience in the hands of a skilled driver. Its unmistakable character places it as a formidable but very usable supercar. The galvanised-bodied 911, which is further differentiated by the impact bumper design, was equipped with a 2.7-litre Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection engine producing 165 horsepower for the 1976 model year. Aligned to the same specification as the pre-74 911 S models, it was fitted with improved interior fittings, including electric windows. Offered with the Targa option since the mid-sixties, the 911 provided rigid open-air motoring while circumventing US legislation for their then-safety laws.

Coming to market after 3 years with our vendor, this car was registered in January 1977, this Lux specification of the 2.7-litre 911 Targa is finished in "Grand Prix White" with a leatherette/basket weave interior and has been subject of a restoration. This genuine UK matching numbers car is believed to be just one of only 1,724 RHD J series cars produced. It has seen £4,000 spend since 2022 with our vendor, and was restored by a former keeper in 2015 helping this car to keep motoring towards its 50th birthday.
