TVR Chimaera 4.5V8

SOLD: Now retired and living abroad for four months of the year this has made me realise that I need to sell at least one car from my small collection. Although only a recent addition this great Chimaera will be an excellent machine for any TVR enthusiast and/or petrol head.

This stunning TVR in Crystal Verde and Fern Green full leather interior, with a comprehensive service record and recent service supports previous comments that for most of its life T775 JAH has been pampered in a dehumidified garage. This is supported by the excellent condition of the outriggers and paintwork, which although not perfect (but very very good) looks stunning in any lighting conditions.

The 12k service completed in April 2025 at the renowned STR8 Six specialist in Lewknor should give the new owner absolute confidence in the cars performance and condition. In addition, engine bay and rear fuel hoses were replaced along with all front wishbone bushes, o/s steering rack gator and 4 wheel alignment. A thick and comprehensive file of servicing and maintenance records further add to the history of this Chimaera creating a package that can launch itself well into the next decade and beyond.

Having owned 5 TVR’s I know this is a good one. Priced sensibly to sell I am not really open to offers. Please no time wasters or tyre kickers, If you are set on a Chimaera I recommend you come and see this one as soon as possible as my wife wants me to sell the T350T and not the Chimaera!

February 2025: New off-side rear light lens.

January 2025:Replaced vacuum line to distributor.

June 2023: Replaced swirl pot and silicone hose.

January 2021: New battery.

January 2020: Replaced ice thermister.

January 2019: Replaced both engine mounts, replaced all rear bushes, replaced rear drive shaft gaitors, replaced gearbox mounts, weld exhaust, make good chasis, new U-bent pipe from pas, repaired rear anti roll bar drop links, strip down and repair mirror and replaced top hose.

March 2017: Replaced front & rear discs and pads. New wishbones and anti roll bar links.

September 2015: Replaced starter motor.

March 2014: replaced both engine mounts, repaired remote alarm.

December 2013: Replaced tyres.

February 2013: Replaced throttle cable and alternator belt.

March 2011: New battery

March 2010: Renew n/s steering rack boot.
