Description
The MG RV8 was a limited-run, factory-restomodded MGB, designed by Rover Special Projects and launched in 1992. It aimed to recapture the spirit of the original MGB while incorporating modern technology and a powerful Rover V8 engine. The RV8 was a successful attempt to revive the MG brand, particularly in Japan, where it enjoyed significant popularity. Only 1,982 RV8s were built, with a significant portion (around 1,500) exported to Japan, the RV8 resonated with Japanese enthusiasts who appreciated the retro design and powerful engine, leading to its popularity there. Our beautiful example was manufactured in 1994 and was exported to Japan - where the car spent 9 years until coming back home to the UK in 2003. Finished in Woodcote Green Metallic and matched perfectly with Cream/ Beige leather trim, the car is presented in excellent order, having been dry stored for the last 4 years and has only been driven back and forth the MOT station every year for it's MOT. The car has covered just 26,000 miles which is commensurate with the cars overall beautiful condition. The previous owner is a car enthusiast and previously owned a number of interesting classic cars, he previously owned a MG V8R which he sold and he has always regretted, so when he saw this example he bought it immediately, but sadly due to his advancing years it's time to let the car go. The car is sold with a impressive portfolio of past invoices and MOT's and will leave us with a new MOT. So, grab yourself this stunning classic British sports car which is available at a very attractive price!
