This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at Silverstone Festival 2025 on Sunday the 24th of August, The Wing, Silverstone Circuit, NN12 8TN.

Purchased by an engineering director with a background in building Concours-winning and magazine-featured cars, this M3 E46 was acquired in 2021 with the goal of creating a vehicle to exact original factory specification

The project began soon after with a comprehensive nut and bolt restoration of over 1,500 hours including the engine, chassis, bodywork and interior, fully documented in the condition report

Powered by a fully rebuilt, 3.2-litre, naturally-aspirated 'S54' straight-six engine, restored to factory standards and producing approximately 338bhp, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission delivering power to the rear wheels

Prior to the rebuild, the car was stripped down completely with the floor reinforced and the entire body resprayed in its original Titanium Silver Metallic by a BMW specialist
