HONDA ACCORD MK6 TYPE-R 2001

I purchased it in October to do up and be able to experience owning one before it was too late due to these being rare now, there's only a hundred odd of these left in UK and over the past year the breakers have been going through a ridiculous amount as they make a tonne of money from them.

Not every part needed replacing, some I do to get best performance and others as I'd rather be safe than sorry.

All welding carried out including removing front subframe to get to an area.

Areas include behind side skirt, above subframe, bulkhead, front sills, wheel arch.

Don't be afraid of this. They were only minor patches.

Comes with all parts to make standard/stock.

Ecu, suspension, iacv, bumpers, air intake

Luckily it was stored in a garage for couple of years after the owner fell out of love with it due to jobs needing doing adding up.

All tests came back with great results.

I can redo any of them again on request. Complete school boy error not taking pics of the results when I did them.

Car drives great! Lots of fun and has put many smiles on my face, real head turner.

Had it on show at Total retro 2025 had alot of attention which was nice.

It's finished now and I need to move on to my next target have my eye on a prelude and an EF. Haven't decided which one yet.

I'm a honda enthusiast so I enjoy working on and driving these old hondas.

Has had a fortune spent on it in parts, labour, favours and hours over last 7 months.
