The Japanese market RC1 Honda Odyssey, launched as a completely new model in 2013, offers practical and versatile family transport in a relatively compact and stylish body. At only 4.8m in length it is considerably shorter and narrower than a current model BMW 5 series yet due to innovative interior packaging provides a vast amount of passenger or cargo space. This alone makes it perfect for everyday family duties.

Unlike many European 7-8 seater models which are actually based on vans the Odyssey was designed for passenger transport with an emphasis on ride, handling, driver involvement and sound insulation. These models feature a K24 2.4 litre engine producing 190bhp mated to an efficient CVT gearbox which helps lower fuel consumption. 300 motorway miles from the 50 litre tank is achievable. As a newer model the RC1 Odyssey also outperforms popular Estima/Elgrand rivals in terms on driving dynamics, fuel consumption and tech features.

Clever use of the interior space allows the Odyssey to be used as 4 or 7 seater. The Odyssey we have here features 2x captain chairs for the middle row with extendable footrests and upper backrest adjustment, the seats have the ability to slide nearly all the way to the rear of the car giving acres of legroom. The 3rd row seats fold completely flat into the boot floor. Even with all seats in use the boot space is enough for 2/3 suitcases which isn't the case in many off this type of car. The rear is also equipped with its own zone climate control, air vents, reading lights, cup holders, power sockets and fully opening side windows.The Odyssey Absolute model comes fully equipped to a very high standard featuring items such as 17" alloys, privacy glass, keyless start, auto LED lights, 2 zone climate control. 2x ISOFIX points are fitted to the middle row captain chairs.

This car was chosen by ourselves due to its good auction grade (Grade 3.5) and overall good condition. (Auction sheet available upon request) This particular car is the 2nd from top of the range model featuring half black leather interior, dark ash wood trim and diamond cut 17" alloy wheels. The original owner has also fitted some desirable extra such as Honda accessory wind deflectors and full carpet mat set.

Exterior paintwork is in very condition for year with only a few minor blemishes. The interior shows much better than average wear for the year/mileage with the leather/fabric still looking particuarly new. Boot area and interior plastics have very few marks, these are usually badly scuffed on many import cars.

The car starts, stops and runs perfectly with no noises from the engine or brakes, The gearbox operates as it should in auto and manual modes even from cold..Suspension still feels tight with no knocking noises especially so as we have refreshed some front end components. All tyres are brand new Landsail and importantly EU spec.. All interior electrics and HVAC system have been checked and work perfectly. We have carried out full mechanical preparation which can be seen below.
