Summary

We purchased the car after testing a couple of R400’s from Caterham Midlands back in 2009 preferring the spec and condition of the Super Light to the R400’s we test drove.

The car underwent a full nut and bolt refresh around march 2004 which ties in with the folder full of invoices and photos at the time.

The car was fully repainted and to this day it's still in stunning, immaculate condition throughout, even underneath with no corrosion, rust or powder-coat flaking.

The spec and current set up is leaning more towards fast road / occasional track rather than touring though the car is actually surprisingly comfortable, for a Caterham anyway :)

We’ve enjoyed the car over the years, most notably the North Coast 500 pre covid where the car performed flawlessly.

As with all good things, these have to come to an end at some point and for the past couple of year the car hasn't been used and now the time has come to move on and pass it onto a new home so others can enjoy the “ Little Beastie “ as we have :)

Priced sensibly taking into account the cars high specification, history and overall immaculate running order and condition.
