Land Rover Range Rover

Body and Chassis Chassis: Repaired, galvanized, and powder-coated for better corrosion resistance. Bodywork: Disassembled and refurbished, with replacements of the front, sills, footwells, rear wings, floor, and crossmember. Panels were stripped, treated with Zinga for rust protection, sealed, coated with stone-chip protection, and resprayed in Beluga Black. Tailgate: Replaced with a full-alloy upper tailgate, fitted with new seals where available. Interior Retrim: Redone in Nappa leather, covering seats, dashboard, door panels, A-posts, B-posts, rear parcel shelf, and steering column surroundextending beyond the factory spec. American walnut accents were kept on the fascia rail, center console, and door inserts. Carpet and Headlining: Fitted with 100% wool carpet with leather binding and a new headlining. Additional Trimming: Leather applied to footwell panels, lower door cards, spare wheel cover, and other areas for a cohesive finish. Mechanical Engine: The 3.9-litre V8 was re-manufactured by Turner Engineering in 2010, fitted with gas-flowed cylinder heads and a stainless steel exhaust. Transmission: An automatic gearbox, new in 2010, was installed, and the transfer box was overhauled by Ashcroft Transmission. Drivetrain bearings and seals were also replaced at the time. Suspension and Steering: Upgraded in 2010 with Koni dampers, polyurethane bushes, Police-spec rear springs, and a heavy-duty quick-ratio steering box. Brakes: Fitted with new calipers, slotted and drilled discs, Kevlar/carbon fibre pads, and a new ABS sphere during the restoration. Electrics and Accessories Electrics: Wiring re-shelled, with new lamps and a battery installed in 2010. Original instruments were kept. Additions: A high-quality audio system and Sigma 30 alarm were added, and the air conditioning was converted to R134A with new components at the time. Protection: Powder-coated differential guards, sump guard, and sill rock guards were fitted during the restoration. What We Think Since its restoration, 039 has covered just 5,000 miles, meaning that it presents today in wonderful condition throughout. Is it a concours level car - no. But it's an example that's had all the right work done to it, and with the exception of a few cosmetic blemishes here and there, is rather a lovely thing! What's more, the very desirable registration '3 CSK' has been made available by the current owner and can be included with the car subject to separate negotiation. Ahead of sale, it received a full check-over by Classic Collective in Bicester, a headlining refurbishment by Harry Fraser Upholstery, and a full 2-day detail by AutoWaxWorks. As always, if you're interested to find out more then please don't hesitate to pick up the phone and book in a viewing!.
